We know nothing of Spike's father from the show, so this fits nicely into canon. So now the trigger's broken - surely Buffy won't let Spike give up? She has to remind him he's no quitter....

Just found this story. Oustanding imagery. I love the way you've kind of melded the time Buffy was in her catatonic state and the world of young Billy's nightmares but given it a purely original 'Spike' twist. It's a situation that fits neatly into canon and I can't wait to see where you go with it.
