I have a soft spot in my heart for Victorian gentlemen... therefore I can only hope that the next installments of this story will appear soon...
I have a feeling that there will be a time in the very near future, when young Master William will ask Giles for more appropriate clothing... Even though tweed wasn't that much in the fashion in his time... (I have a faint recollection of the original tweed for suits being "softened" with urine, because otherwise the wool would've been really hard to make clothes of...)
BTW hopefully there won't be any sings of consumption manifesting in this fic... Although, taking William to the doctor's would be quite amusing...

I had no idea that original tweed was softened with urine! Nasty! Well, I can say this, William will not be sporting any urine-soaked clothing that's for damn sure!! I loved the Buffy and William interaction. Also, I learned so much from this chapter, never knew about the zipper being invented in 1913. Thanks for the long chapter, can't wait for more. Wonder what Spike's vamp/demon essence is up too.

Love the squabble with Riley and his neediness. Hopefully they'll break up in a minute... So Buffy discovers that poor embarrassed William needs to pee but she doesn't notice he's human? Hopefully Giles will now figure it out...
Author's Response: Yeah, Riley said numerous times that he loved the whole "Buffy" package but I don't think he truly did. No, Buffy didn't notice he was human. Buffy really isn't too perceptive when she has her mind set on something. Her belief is William is Spike with amnesia and Spike is a vamp. End of story. She wouldn't look past that.
