I loved it! A purring Spike is just too yummy! Hopefully Giles will be a little more accepting now. Spike protecting Buffy by feeding off her first- keeping her away from Angel- ...did Giles even realize how he maneuvered that? And I love scenes that become erotic without sex! You are a tease! I've been waiting for so long for an update... gimme more! lol Seriously though, this was a great chapter. Giles' change of attitude is slowly redeeming him in my eyes. I still want to kill Xander though. If Spike decides he had enough of the boy, I'll be cheering him on. I'm glad Angel's return doesn't seem to be causing problems between Spike and Buffy. Amazing story, keep writing.

Love the story, can't wait to see what you do with Angel, or what's left of him. I also loved the Oz cameo. I love seeing Oz. However, I do feel the need to stand up for Xander. I know he's a favorite target in Spuffy fiction, and I understand all the reasons why. His line about Spike not knowing what he was talking about, seemed a little much to me though. I would never expect Xander to accept Spike (especially at this point in his history) just somehow that one line didn't seem Xandery to me. Okay, done now. I really do like the story, and most of your obnoxious Xander I do like, especially how Xander's reaction has made Giles come to his senses.
