If this Dawn had been around more on the show maybe I would've liked her character. Their sisterly bonding is so great. It is something that they both needed. I felt sorry that Buffy couldn't be there like this for Dawn but completely understood why. She wanted to be a good sister. I am sure that after Chosen she was able to be. Those two years between The Gift and Chosen were very hard on Buffy emotionally. She was suffering severe depression and was suicidal after what was done to her by the people she loved.
