The dreaded trip home. Random parental tension is bad enough without having major trauma thrown into the mix. And Spike is a wonderful boyfriend to know that sometimes its just better to agree with your woman than to truly believe its the right thing to do. Great chapter.

Wow, you're good, because for the last chapter or so, I completely forgot about the family problem things up to come. I imagine that will bring some fun drama. And an interlude with barred funiture and silk scarves is always worth it. Can't wait to see what happens next.

That was wonderful, after beating around the bush for so long, they were finally able to get past the pain that was keeping them apart, and Buffy was able to confide her darkest secret. I'm sure we're not all sunshine and puppy dogs now, but connecting those two events really makes that night so much more meaningful to them, and made the weight so worth it. A divine chapter. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Riley's the right thing to do and thing's will be better when Spike moves out, this girl has got to get her world priorities back in order. My goodness, why does she let common, emotionaless sense make all of her decisions... and that is going against the financial assistence that she really does need. But I will hang on tight and enjoy the ride because everything working out is always way more fulfilling when it all falls apart first. Great chapter. Loved the whole monotony of the date with Riley, too.

And there is the devil. And the really evil devil. This chapter just has it all. Our first smidge of what they have, and then that first smidge of what else is out there trying to keep them apart... not to mention all of the angst. So utterly wonderful.

Poor Faith, and as depressing as what happened to her is, its nice to see her show up in this world. And I love that Spike is trying so hard to comfort Buffy. They really are good for each other. Great chapter.

My golly, I bet neither would even admit to having a conversation, but I can say they were. I do love the progression of the story with the little bits of the past your letting us into. Great chapter.
