Negative sparkage. *laughs* Yeah, ok, I'm just going to refer to this Buffy as Cleo, coz she IS queen of da nile. Nice interaction with the girls. Seems like Buffy is starting to open up about some things, which is a good sign. She's also feeling safe with Spike. I like this development. Hopefully she'll realize soon that there's more than negative sparkage there.

Ok, first of all--the Peter Lorre reference? Had me laughing out loud! Thank God Spike doesn't look anything like him :D I'm still reading, and I'm more than enjoying. I'm glad Spike's not pressing Buffy for answers and that he's just being there for her--it's exactly what she needs. I'm also eager to find out what the whole story is. Thanks much!

I am so damn excited when I see a new chapter posted! You are doing a fabulous job with this story. It's definitely your best one yet. I like how the past events of Buffy's life are slowly revealing themselves, and how Spike is someone she can count on as a friend. Please keep writing and I'll keep reading!

Coomon ground and tentative friendship -- the basis for something long and lasthing. Oh, I love this part of the interaction between them. And great picture of bug-shagging crazy Dru -- but I like how you picked up his caretaker side -- he needs to be needed, no matter what location you find him in. He's a natuarl caretaker is our Spike. Very nice.
