Oh, thank God Buffy is finally starting to get her head on straight. I think it was important for her to take the big leap this time. In the end, she left because she wasn't willing to fight for Spike. I think her efforts here will probably go a long way in showing Spike she believes he's worth it.

Also, I'm excited about the change in posting schedule. I love this story, and the more we get, the better!

thanks for the update addie! but i gotta say, it kinda seems like our spikey is putting all the blame on buffy for the break-up. i mean yeah she dumped him but he was so mean and distant to her before the whole quentin thing anyway. i mean, accusing her of sleeping with the doctor, saying she was self-involved n didn't ask abt how his album was going and all. i mean joyce was almost dying at that time. her mother! how could she not be self-involved.
IMO, spike should face his own demons first, e.g his insecurities, before putting all the blame on buffy. it takes 2 pple to break-up a relationship. well in this case, 3 including quentin the ass.

but i still love spike (duh!) and the whole spuffiness you got going on here. keep it coming and u r most def the BEST spuffy writer on this planet baby!! can't wait for the next update! thanks for making my day, week, month!

OMG they have a date, how freakn awesome is that. Buffy finally coming to her senses. I mean they both need to listen to the other alot and get pasted somethings,but really this is a huge step for them. I truly hope the date goes well. I can't wait to read more. Fantastic chapter! Buffy and Spike on a date! Buffy is right though. They never did that whole dating thing. They kind of just jumped into a relationship. Can't wait for more!

I actually want Spike to be cautious, for his own sake....but not so much that they never move forward, obviously. And it is too soon for sex, even for these two. I'd like to see him make Buffy work a bit, you know? She needs to do that, since she gave up so easily before.

I figured Quentin had been fired a while ago now. Who could work with that bastard?

What do I think?? WHOOOOHOOOO!!!! Spike couldn't leave, point in his favor...and the biggest points go to Buffy for going after him, better late then never. Sometimes it takes a person a long time to realize what is really important to them, in this case 3 years. But now it is time for them to rebuild, and reconnect. As much as I love the sex between them, at this point it is about trust, but they do makes sparks fly. Very happy to see them on the right track, great job and thanks

i couldn't remember if i had already reviewed, but i loved this chapter! especially the ending...can't wait to see dawn's reaction to spike being in bed w/ buffy. lol. can't wait for more!
