I love this fic. I am glad that there are fans who could understand what Buffy was feeling. There are too many people who just think "how dare she treat him like that, she's a bitca". When she isn't. She was suffering from severe depression. Knowing what she was going through psychologically and emotionally when it came to Spike and being alive again was incredibly heartbreaking to me. I felt so much for her.

This is beautiful- touching and sad and not over-the-top angsty. I like the "Sometimes she thinks..." pattern thing.
