Great idea to write about how they first met. Nobody could blame Buffy for the instant attraction she felt toward him , he seemed pretty irresistible. It was lovely and poignant , altogether. I love this !

While I'm not a big fan of angst, I thought I would give this a shot. I have loved everything else you have done so far. Thanks for the warning on it. Having been in her place I want to stand up and scream at my computer, because my mind knows in real life there is no chance of a happy ending (they are very rare) but THANK god this is fiction. I like your other reader will give it a few chapters before deciding my opinion. Keep up the good work, your stories are wonderful. P.S. for the person that asked in chpater 2 it says that his wife is Dru.

Awesome. These two chapters make me wanna hit Buffy as much as I do Spike. *wg* I love thought that Buffy is already starting to pull herself together and realize she deserves better than her current situation. Looking forward to more of your story, as always.

Ok, gotta say I like , no I take that back I LOVE this one! I like the layout and drama of this fic. One word to Buffy though, don't sell yourself short for Spike (get even) if she has too be the other woman make him the other man! Bet he wouldn't like the feeling either. Sorry for my ramble I lov ya Ash lol

I don't mind dark , when it's having hopeful vibes .. Will it be the case ? Thank you for warning us. I think it might be a truly interesting view of our beloved couple.. but of course , i will have some hard time if Spike is really an insensitive bastard.. And i'm looking forward to Buffy's reactions : I hope we will see her strong and wild , and possessive , fighting for her love.. Sorry , I got carried away! So I will wait for two or three more chapters , before saying i don't like it.

Author's Response: Don't worry, there will definitely be hopeful vibes, but there is a lot of angst. Spike's not really an insensitve bastard, but he does have one particular moment (there will be a warning before that chapter, but again, he's not violent). So far, I have written Buffy as both strong-willed and weak. I've tried to keep it as real as possible (and she will eventually fight for him, but it's a long time coming). Thanks for reviewing!

This is your best story to date, probably because of my point of view of having been in a similar place to Buffy's place in this story and it's just tugging at the heartstrings. Very realistic portrayal. Keep up the great work.

While I don't like your warning that Spike's going to be a jerk in this story (that seems to be a trend in fanfiction lately), it seems that Buffy isn't exactly innocent either... interesting beginning!
