WOW...such tension and tenderness...mmm Giles bringing in another watcher to help out with this unraveling Willow screw up....well well now things should get even more interesting....How insane though that Willow doesn't notice a thing and thinks things are just hunky dorey...ahhhhhh the dumb bitch....Loved Spike giving Dawn that father figure she so desperately needs and needed...And well the hottness that is Spike and Buffy just goes without saying....All will come to a head i am sure and the truth will come out that Willow blew the spell and screwed with the universe and at what price???? more than she knows i believe...Good for Giles taking Spike and Buffy aside to give them information...even though they don't know anything yet...I have a feeling that Buffy is going to be very pissed and wanting to kick some ass....Now the other thing is what is it that the huntsman said...hmmmmm almost worth learning a new language just to find out *grins*...excellent yet again and the sex just keeps getting hotter and hotter...whoooooo

Wonderful chapter Nia! Great use of Anya in explaining the balance that Willow upset. I always knew Anya was one smart cookie. She never fails to break out the big insights. I loved Giles' insight into the shift of his emotions for Dawn. Maybe his realization of how much he has to keep safe in Sunnydale will keep him there. I love your Dawn. She is just full of the right amounts of sugar and vinegar. Full of spitfire that one is. Dawn's nicknames for Willow and Xander were hilarious. I'm glad they only played peripheral roles this chapter again. I think we all needed a break from them. And what a break it was! The confrontation between the Huntsman and Dawn was incredible. I cannot WAIT to find out what he said to her. You've really peaked my interest in the background of this character. I'm excited to see what the gang's research shows on this. I wonder if the hounds didn't attack Dawn (even before the Huntsman motioned to them) because she is basically pure. Being the key, she's made of pure energy. If anyone can approach the Huntsman and the hounds, I would think it would be Dawn. I'm really glad you gave Buffy and Spike some more alone time. Buffy definitely needs some fun, stimulating, and relaxing time away from the pressure of the gang. And yummy, lickable Spike is just the one to make sure she gets it. *sigh* Wonderful love scenes between them. The words you choose just weave fantastic images out of thin air. Amazing imagery, especially the last scene with Buffy's hair. That was incredibly sexy. Lovely chapter, again Nia! The more I read of this story, the more intrigued and impressed I am.

can i just say..........OH MY GODS. that was some of the best written sex i have ever read. the emotions you brought forth were incredible. dawn having a conversation with the huntsman was not what i had expected and I LOVE IT. he gave me chills. *VBG* i like the relationship you are building between dawn and giles. i found it interesting that you commented about the key and the huntsman. he must have known what she is.......well that my take anyway. i don't like willow and xander commiserating together.....very bad mix there. way to go anya....the girls got some keen observations and shes no dumby!!!!!!!!

Guh! *whimper* *sigh* *dies* You killed me with your smutty goodness. Want. More. Very hot how Spike initiated by pulling Buffy's panties away. Niiiiiice. *sigh* This was very intense and gratifying for their first time. I really like how their against the wall position was the same, and yet different, as their first time in "Smashed". Same position, different emotions. Very nice way of mirroring that scene from BtVS and showing us what could have been. I thought it was very amusing how the minute Buffy gets semi-approval from the Watcher she and Spike are bumpin' and grindin'. I know they were building up to this moment long before that, but it's still kind of funny. I can only imagine Gile's face if he knew what happened after Buffy left his presence. Hee, hee! Loved the imagery and shared POV during teh sex. *sigh* I also think the pet names Spike has for Buffy are just precious. He can read her so well, and is giving her exactly the treatment she needs right now. Wow, is he giving it to her. (reverts to jr. high mentality before finally pulling mind out of gutter) Looks like the day patrollers have stumbled upon the dastardly doggies and someone who could be their commander. Ruh roh! Scooby time! Too bad the scoobs are incommunicado right now. I hope the hellhounds don't hurt Dawnie. Really can't bring myself to care so much about Willow or Xander right now. If Dawn gets hurt, that's going to set Buffy back so far. And she's made so much progress up till now, taking control as the slayer in the kitchen while assigning duties. This chapter was brilliant again, and particularly smutacular at the end. I eagerly await the next installment!
