I really don't know where you want to go with this plot, but I think souled Drusilla would hate Angel or Angelus; He killed all her beloved ones, he haunted her merciless, he made her a vampire. She could be crazy, but she wouldn't love him, at all. That's what I think...

"Silly little girl, no one gets rewarded for doing something if they're only doing it for the reward itself, not in your line of work. I could tell him that, but then why would I." Exactly! Just because Dru's crazy doesn't make her stupid. The minute Angel starting thinking of his helping people as a way to Shanshu , he became unworty of it. Spike's only attempt the Shanshu was to fight Angel and it seemed like the only reward he was interested in was to kick Angel's ass.

i really love this story, but im finding it hard to read due to the whole present-tense thing

Great beginning! I love all the alternative avenues you are exploring regarding vampire behavior and how who they were as humans effects the type of vampire they become. I love the crossover with Angel S2 as well because I think this is an avenue that has so much possibility for explorations. I look forward to see where you are going with this story.
