Author's Response: She will. But it is going to take some time. I want to stay in-character. I have a certain time in my head where she will see Spike in a different light. Be patient.

Not mad at all for Buffy's behavior because it was completely within character. Both of them were, actually. It was very fitting how Spike ended up finding out about the baby. I love too how the baby was showing how affected she is by the drama between her parents. God, so many incredible layers within this one chapter alone. Looking forward to where Spike and Buffy go from here.

Though I desprerately want to find out what happnens in the next part... also that which involves Dru, this part was pretty darn cool. Giles reaction was wonderful, kinda forget that there's not yet a Dawn running around. He would so, be furious and kinda rightly so... And now that Joyce knows... thats a whole new kinda fun. Ok, I might be in the minority here, but I love this chapter (that's not the minority part). What I love about it is you made me care for Spike and believe his ernestness in his belief that he's change (which you also showed evidence of) while at the same time, despite her rejection of Spike's confession, feel for Buffy as well. Nice work!! I love the Joyce scene too (both of them). I hope is is the middle woman in getting them together!! More soon!
