Don't worry- every now and then, using lines from the show can help to keep your sanity in tact. I know exactly what you're going through. Excellent angst in this chapter, although I predict Spike will have much kissing of Buffy's ass to do in order to make up for immediately believing Leanna. What did he think? That the two of them would have a girl's night out and tell each other their darkest secrets while braiding the others hair? He really must be looking for a reason to be mad at her. And after that 'mutual hate' comment, too. He's so clueless sometimes. I can't wait to see what happens next and how Dru will fit into this crazy plot :-) Great chapter- please update ASAP!!!

It's true - I know it's stupid of him to just be such an ass just cuz Leanna is a bitch - but he's just using it to get rid of the awkwardness. That part of their complicated relationship shouldn't last long (the Spike believing Leanna), because it's really not about that at all. Braiding each other's hair, LOL. love it. And I will certainly try to move along the update!
