I think the way the group is dealing with the situation sucks, but that just makes Spike a bigger hero. I want to find out more about Spike and Buffy's link. Has the chip stop working, or is it as Spike says?

Loved that Buffy is realizing that her connection to Spike seems to be getting deeper by the minute and how she refrained from lashing her anger out on him and I loved how Spike talked to the Scoobies at the end. Can't wait for more!

i love this story. i hate how the scooby gang is acting but i guess i shouldn't be surpised by this but the piss me off alot. i love spike and buffy's interactions this is really getting good. as for Riley well he just needs to go allready cause he's getting on my nerves. can't wait for more. update again soon.

Wow. I really loved Spike's last sentence. "you lot are the ones who can't hear" That was powerful and such a nice way to end the chapter. Makes me want more. more more more! lol Not being a big fan of the scoobies, that story makes me dislike them even more. I just wish Spike will soon say "screw the chip and the headache" and hit Riley's smug face.

Oh... I like this Spike and Buffy. I think I like ALL your Spikes and Buff(ies). I have a friend who is hearing impaired, not completely but enough that conversations are impossible unless she can see you. It makes you accutely aware of looking people in the face. And it's made me aware that I can read lips very well. Spike talking to Buffy while he was rubbing her shoulder- I immediately caught that. I was so happy to see that it was significant and not an error. Yea for details!

Just wonderful Ashlee! I loved how the tension and selfishness of some of the Scoobies brought Buffy and Spike closer together. It's amazing that Buffy can understand him without even hearing him. Maybe her slayer senses have kicked up a notch and are compensating for her lack of hearing. She always could sense Spike apart from the general vamp. Wonderful moment between Buffy and Spike in the training room. Riley makes my shoulders tense, and he's nowhere near me. I can't wait to see what the Scoobies response is to Spike's outburst.

I'm so loving the connection between Buffy and Spike. It's great that they can communicate without words. It makes Riley look like an ass. Well, he IS and ass no matter what, but that makes him look even worst lol. And it's great that you're taking your time building up a relationship between them instead of throwing them into each other's arms without establishing a relationship first. I love it.

Awesome! I love that this chapter was about how Spike and Buffy communicate b/c in the end that is what is going to keep her alive as a slayer and help her survive her new situation as a person. And the example throught which Buffy (you) made this point was excellent. You so rock! :)

This is so goooood. :) The one thing that I adore about the Buffy and Spike characters is that they always were able to communicate on an intuitive level, workeing like a well made time piece, all gears doing what they were made to do. That's one reason I think they are such a good match!
