So I take it Angel isn't totally evil anymore. Dusting Darla did it for him? There's a weird symbolism there- how quickly Angel was willing to dust his sire for Buffy... again. And Spike? Pfft. Darn him. I hope he see's the ere of his ways before it's too late.

Good for Buffy! I always get sick of Spike mooning about worried about Drusilla. That's why I loved Crush so, he chose Buffy over Drusilla,period. Oh well, I'm sure these two dopes (Spike/Buffy) will get their acts together, and soon! Great story. Luv,Spuf

That was close! Buffy got herself almost killed. And bad timing for Spike to arrive when Buffy was crying in Angel's arms. I hope Spike will follow Buffy and try to speak to her. - About killing the sire: I just thought - what if Spike had been there instead of Angel, and Dru had attackt Buffy? I came to think - he would have killed her, not even thought about it. That would have come later. I hope - if he kills Dru - that this won't change things between Buffy and Spike for the bad - because Spike's feelings in killing his sire. Well, we'll see about that - when it happens or IF it happens.

Wow! So now Angel knows about the prophecy and about Buffy & Spike. I must say - Agel handled everything a lot better than I expected him to! Please don't wait very long before posting the next chappie - I want Buffy and Spike to reconcile their differences soon!!

Ok, I get why Spike wouldn't want to kill Drusilla - she's his sire, they spent over 100 years together, he loved her, etc. But, he's still a dumbass for walking out on Buffy. Good use of Cordy as intermediary. Hopefully she talked some sense into that lame brain. I was kind of suprised that Buffy would ask and expect Spike to kill his sire, but she is young and still has a lot to learn. Like Spike said, it's not new that she compares him to Angel. Spike doesn't fit the same rules that Angel does, but that's the only prior personal experience she has with a vampire. It will be interesting to see just what Spike will be willing to do to potentially save Buffy's life. Nice twist again, Ashlee!

Oh, poor Spike and Buffy. I wonder if Buffy is thinking she killed Angel to save the world, why can't Spike kill Dru to save a few humans. I hope she comes to understand what that means, for a childe to kill their sire....it would be like killing a parent almost. SHe brought him in to this world, gave him love whenever one else shunned him or rejected him. Dru has done nothing that effects them right now that no other vampire is out there doing. For Buffy to bring on this confronation leading to Spike killing Dru could have repercussions and I hope they are able to get through them. It's also refreshing to see hot headed Buffy feeling the insecurity of Spike's love, but hope her jealousy does not put a dent in the bond between them. Great added little angst twist....I feel sorry for both of them. Keep up the great work....this story keeps getting better and better.

Glad that Cordy tried to make Spike understand what Buffy was thinking (because he really had no clue) Well, if that didn't go through him - the thought of Buffy in danger did. that was a great update. i hope spike gets his head out of his ass soon and realize that buffy loves him and only him. i love how cordy told him the way it was to that was so good. i hope spike stakes dru she really does deserve it. great all around chapter update again soon.
