I don't have the words to tell you how perfect that was. Part of me wants more, but if this is all there is, it is more than enough. And, I would understand if you did not want to gild such a beautiful lily as this.

Author's Response: I'm so delighted that you enjoyed it. When I read that poem, I thought of Spike for some reason...and knew somehow he had to voice it.
