I absolutely love this story. I appreciate the way you're taking the time to actually develop the characters and plot. In fact, I think this fic has the best characterization out of any I've read this year. Even when something happens that I don't like, you make it believable. I can't wait to see the finished result - I'm sure it'll be nothing short of amazing. =)

Nice moments between Oblivious Girl and Bleached Wonder. God. . if she could just realize what she has in front of her, and this is a chance. . . for them a second chance to make things work. Or is it a third chance? I'm not sure. All I know is that he loves her and she loves him. And Angel? About time he actually thought about what was going on -- about how his actions brought them to this place.

My Addie, so little really happened here, and it's been one of the best chapters. Angel with his Cordy and Buffy with her Spike. It is amazing how much emotion truly revolves around the little things, and I love how you can so powerfully convey that. I feel bad for all of them, how they are each realizing how things are, but feel that they must just sit back and let them happen. I do love everything about this story and hope for another update. Thanks so much for sharing.

Good update of the story. Angel has a lot to reflect on. I don't know all the Angel episodes well, but I do know that with writing fiction there is a bit of license for things not to be exact. {huggles} So everything isn't exact to an episode, it doesn't matter unless you said it was supposed to be identical. None of this really happened in the shows. It is all the writer's imaginations. Don't let it get you down. I know that I long for Spuffy happiness (not necessarily sex, but the allowing of both of them to let themselves show their love freely), but that often takes time especially with these two stubborn ones. I'm sure it will be good when we get there. I look forward to the next update.

Loved the AN almost as much as the Chap! As for me - I don't care enough about Angel in any form to worry about how you characterize him - go for it! He's just a catalyst for angst in my book. As far as B&S getting together - I love what you're doing so far - they need to rebuild - they need to take things slow (something they NEVER did in the past) Sure I'm a spuffy slut, but I know that you are gonna tell the BEST TALE so even if I get anxious for Spuffiness, I know you'll eventually get there and I love every word you write getting there, being there and beyond! So-- that said, GREAT UPDATE - CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE - YOU TELL IT YOUR WAY and I"M SURE I"LL LOVE IT ALL! Thanks so much for sharing!

I like introspective Angel. He did a lot of selfish things in canon that nobody seemed to call him on. I'm glad you're doing it. My heart's breaking for Spike and Buffy right now, but I'm glad you are going slow here, givng them time to know each other again.

Don't rush the Spuffy just to satisfy people, there are plenty of other stories out there that do that for people that want that. This story is progressing wonderfully and the payback will be all the better when (and if) if happens. Stories that take their time and build are much more rewarding! Keep up the great work that you do!

Hi! I think you know (at last I hope) that I tend to ramble a bit; but I wan't shout: Get Buffy and Spike together (I only do it when Buffy is with Wesley instead of Spike by example - repeating Spike would be better for her than Wesley) ;-) I' m going to read what you right - when you write it. I just hope it won't be too heartbreaking before it goes better. Enjoyed reading the chapter very much. Looking forward to see their relationship build. Good update. I really hope these two get it straight soon. This dance of theirs is more twisted now than Season 6. Neither one of them are really on with the game. They are both doubting and second guessing ... all the while hurting each other more. Look forward to seeing what happens next.

Goodness, the anguish! Angel is being such a right prat all throughout this story, but the big question in the air is "What about the Immortal?" Buffy and Spike just seem to be getting all close again, in a much healthier way than in the past, and there is just this big thing hanging there, in their way. it makes me sad. I can't wait to see how this turns out. Fabulous story.

Ooh, I like that you pointed out the illogic of Angel giving up his humanity to save Buffy and then not being around to do so. Nice twist with Connor's parents being evil -- it is W&H after all! That's like Angel and Spike taking Ilona's word that TI is OK. She's trustworthy? Loving this.

Nice twixt on the Connor issue -- that his "parents" were really W & H plants. Also, nice use of Buffy's thought processes. About time she did some serious thinking about Angel. Also, she had to put him to rest -- their relationship anyway. While she may have loved him, he probably never really loved her. Can't want to see what and when Buffy realizes about Spike -- too bad she thought they have moved on. . . real love doesn't move on so quickly. Hopefully she'll dump Morty soon.

Awesome chapter, Addie. Killing me with the UST - but that's as it should be. Niether one of them has enough self confidence to recognize the other's love when they see it. Wonderful that Buffy is realizing how much Spike's love was real - and that she's letting him know she cared in her own way. Now, if they can just get a grip on where they stand right now....Looking forward to an update soon.
