Glad to see the update! Angel did deserve what he got! And I'm glad that Buffy realised the difference of what she got with Angel and Spike (Angel never really love her) *smile* (Spuffygirl here) :-) I hope this inside she got will help her to get together with Spike again. Glad too she decided to stay.

Willow's take on the S/B relationship and on Spike is incredibly coldhearted, arrogant, and elitist. She (and the other Scoobies) assume so much about Buffy (and Spike), and it's unfortunate they had such influence. Her attitude here reminds me of the callous joking at the end of "Chosen." Good for Buffy to unequivocally stand up for Spike (as she should). I hope, both S&B don't allow their insecurities to color their decisions in a misguided attempt to do what they think is best for the other. That's Angel's MO, and maybe, Buffy will realize and not do the same as she mulls over the implications of his one human day and the memory wipe. The Immortal seems to be the elephant in the room, and I'm very curious as to how you'll handle him. Great story, and I love the snark and banter you weave amongst the angst.

Angel, the dope. Was he not listening at all to Cordy... maybe a little cause he didn't go running out after Buffy and Spike, but this whole tirade over evil changing Spike. I'm glad Buffy is at least pissed at him too. Absolutely loving Spike's refecltion too. He seems quite aware that things are never as simple as they seem and that a reward by definition, isn't always good or easy to accept. Really, want to know why exactly Connor is all pissed too. Wonderful chapter.

I love this story so far. Just read it up to this point. I think the pace is great. I've always loved thew idea of post-ATS fics, but most I've read have fallen short. They try to get Buffy and Spike together way too fast (like sex in the bathroom immediately after the final battle - sorry whoever's story that is) and that's a big turnoff for me. No matter how I feel about the final season of BTVS, I still believe that Spike and Buffy found real feelings for each other and I don't think that instantaneous mind-blowing sex is consistent with the last season. Like I said I love the story and the pace is good. Keep it up.

Willfully blind Willow. Good lord. And nice confrontation between Buffy and Angel -- and how bloody stupid is he? Thinking that telling Buffy about that day would make her see that Spike being human was somehow bad. Poor Spike -- regretting what is his reward for all the world saveage. Nice chapter, and oohhhh can't wait to see what Connor is pissed about.

Uh-Oh. Someone'smade. haha. Can;t wait to see what Conor is oging to do. Go Buffy for putting Angel in his jealous place, and bad on Willow for that awful advice. good chapter.

So sad now - got to the end of this chapter and ...no more! Great opening chapters. Scene being nicely set and am wondering in which direction(s) it will meander off. Love human Spike - just want ot hug(!) him. Looking forward to the next chapters - how fast does your muse let you type?

Hope Cordy did get through to Angel. And I'm glad Spike is more than human - better if you girlfriend is the slayer (hope the fic will get there).

I really like your characterization of Angel because it brings out the many things that were so troubling about his actions and attitude on the show(s). I'm glad Spike hasn't lost his strength -- I have trouble seeing Buffy with someone completely normal and could never understand her obsession with normality. Nice. :)

I liked how you worked the Angel/Cordelia scene in- Angel really does need to grow up. Also intrigued with Spike's status, and loving how he and Buffy are trying so hard to get along and treat each other nicely for once.

Hmmm... I'm really not sure I like how you're villifying Angel. I never quite saw him as inherently bad, just someone who made poor decisions. Unfortunately, if this is going to be an Angel-bashing fic I might drop from reading it. Which would suck, since I absolutely love your writing :)

Oh, just wonderful. Simply. . . nice. Spike and Buffy out for the day -- and bonding and just.. she cried for him. *sighs* Really nice. Liked that. A bit of closure for them and even better, more of an awakening. And Angel? jealous much? Stupid git. Can't wait to see what happens next.
