At first I thought this was going to be some smutty upbeat fantasy fic (which I am all for), but lo and behold, this has a PLOT. Wow. I like this less damaged Buffy and less smitten Spike. I think they're better this way... definitely hot.

Well, if it encourage you to write faster, here's another review. Love the story. Love this Spike. And the fact that you changed season 2 doesn't bother me at all. It actually kinda makes sense. If he hadn't been paralysed on the show, I guess he might have left Sunnydale with Dru once she was healed so yeah, it's all good. And I can't believe you waited months to post this because it's really good. It's worth being shared with the rest of the world :D Give us more!
