This was a refreshing chapter.....no Spike trying to beg for something he doesn't deserve yet....creepy that Angel is becoming the stalker dude from hell......great that Buffy is NOT running to Spike.....and the reason she isn't having sex with him yet, is.....HE has NOT proven he is the long haul guy, words are cheap and mean nothing if YOU don't trust who they come from......I hope Buffy realizes you can't define a relationship with SEX......and not for force it if she is not ready....she has legitimate reasons, NOT to have sex with Spike...I hope Angel is out of the picture here soon......last thing Buffy needs is not so Angel face being more of an ass then he already is.....

I'm glad Spike and Buffy are taking things slow. I still really don't understand why he broke up with her (or at least why it took him nearly a year to realize he wanted her back) There has yet to be any explanation for his sudden attraction for Dru, or what that relationship was like- and I'd really like to know why he's claiming that he loved Buffy the whole time, especially since in the early chapters he claimed he did not. And I still think spike is getting off WAY too easy here- all the real suffering has been Buffy's, as has most of the blame. I'm getting really tired of Spike's patronizing attitutde about wanting to 'protect' buffy and take care of her- he has to earn that right, since he gave it up so easily and he hasn't even told her why yet.
