They'd be impossibly perfect together- I just wish Buffy would get that already. But I can understand where she's coming from and her reservations...I just have such happy hopes for them:)

still a great story, one tip though: put the actions of the characters (ie, 'spike shook his head') with the characters' dialogue ('No, if I told her...'). That way there's less confusion about who's talking :)

that was so good. i loved the kiss that was perfect because now buffy has to evaluate her feelings for spike and finally realize that she really does love him more than a friend. great update can't wait for more.

Spike really is a sweetheart in this story, isn't he? I'm sure he's kind of like a big brother to Casey and Dawn, and I think they'd like it if he and Buffy hooked up:) Hank seems to approve of him, as does Joyce, so I don't see why Buffy doesn't just open her eyes and see what (or who) is perfect for her

Author's Response: Oh yeah, he's definitely a sweetie. I love Spike like this and I always tend to make him the perfect guy. I'm making myself jealous here and wish I could find a guy like that. Don't worry, Buffy will come to her senses soon. We all know how stubborn she can be. This is one of my fluffier stories and hardly any angst. I was in a mood I guess. I am all about the drama though, so there will be a little of that. Pretty much with her father, but I'm sure you saw that coming. Well, I'm glad you like it=)

LOL about the nickname thing at the end! Spike's description was just so sweet, and I'm glad he was honest to Hank about loving Buffy. It'd be kind of cool if Buffy heard the whole conversation...
