Yes, I really believe he would LOL Great update! It's nice to know he's dropping the rock-star facade a bit around her, and I'm happy they were getting along. Now, camping alone in the woods should be interesting to see:)

I am really enjoying this story. Love thye slow build and how they are both wary fo getting burned by love again, even though one covers it with promiscuity while the other runs from the intimacy. Nice to see them on equal footing in a story. Looking forward to how this one is going to play out.

Wonderful update. I loved how he got her to start talking about Angel by talking about his own live and problems. I know he didn't mean what he said about only a quick shag from Buffy (you don't work so hard for a quick shag) I think he just doesn't realize how much he wants something more yet. More please. LOVED the last line- it's so true! I feel so bad for celebrities sometimes. This was incredibly sweet, and it was interesting to hear Spike talk about the obsessed fan...I don't think I could handle a life like that.

I missed this story somehow and it's so good. Read the whole thing today. What an intense game they're playing. And I love how Spike still views her as a conquest--a good challenge. He didn't just go all loverboy on her right away.

Spike is so cocky and sure of himself- he'd be devastated if he didn't sleep with Buffy before the month was up...that'd be funny LOL I feel bad for Buffy- being so scared and 'haunted' by the ghost of a bastard like Angel has to be incredibly difficult. But I'm happy she didn't cave in to Spike yet- he needs to learn how fun the thrill of the chase can be:)
