I truly love the whole mafia feel to the story. The dynamics of Spike's family are awesome. Dru, Angel, Darla, and even Wesley relationship to Spike really works well. Please update soon.

No, actually it's not a silly question. I re-read the last chapter and I was not clear about what you mentioned.
Marcus, of course, Jennifer, his wife, Spike, Drusilla, Angel and Connor are all full on vampires.
The natural part comes from the fact that the mothers to the brood gave live birth to them and they age for so long, then stop aging.
I used 'natural' to distinguish from 'turned vampire' such as the minions and Wesley.
In the fic, Master Vampire's such as the Aurileous Family can sire born children.
This is why there was no question of Spike being James' father.
Now, as to whether or not Buffy is going to be real 'welcoming' of Spike when he hits Sunnydale?

I like your story idea and can't wait to read more. Buffy sounds a little girlish for a twenty year old with a two year old son. Come on skipping?,"talking out loud to herself at night, in the cementary, about her most precious secret, where any nasty could overhear her. There must have been a more inventive way for Riley to find out about little James. I'm not criticizing, just wondering, because you do what you do extremely well and I enjoy everything that you write. Please write more soon.

Author's Response: I know Buffy is real, real, girlish in this scene. I kind of took that part from the show in (much as I hated the epi) As You Were, when she was singing the DMP song in the graveyard.

please have angel be michael and spike be sonny; or the brains and the muscle; Riley can be Fredo the crazy brother. or a rival vampire family....and please either have Angel be with Cordy or Darls so no Angel/Buffy angst! But love the mob theme!
Author's Response: Angel is married to Darla (trophy wife). Spike is the 'rebel' of the family and Connor is the baby boy. Drusilla, who I don't really like to write about is again, the sister. She's the one that will help persuade her 'family' that Spike and Buffy are destined to be together.
