I love this story and I hope you have plans for a sequel in the near future. I love that you let him be alive. It's so sad to see that Buffy had been seperated from him the way she was, but now Buffy and Spike are back together and I can't wait to see them be reunited with their William.

I shouldn't be mad at Willow; she's long gone to dust, but the idea of the arrogance hits the mark so well. I keep thinking that both Buffy and Spike are like Sleeping Beauties - each has come back to life in a changed world. I really hope that they are the last two and that somewhere along the line the Immortal has been knocked out of the picture. The idea of capturing her soul in a bauble - very Little Mermaid but still very effective!

Great beginning. I'm delighted to see a new story from you and - as always - I'm totally sucked in from the first paragraph onward. I like the fact that you don't spend a lot of time giving Spike's backstory - just enough to let us know that he's had a full life, that he's come to terms with his exepreiences, both the highs and lows, and that he's grown from all of it to be a person of great self knowledge. I don't know what started it, but I spent most of this past weekend reading most of your fics and I am *so* excited about this new story! I really shouldn't start it right now since I'm in the middle of one of your other ones, but I don't care, it's too good. This chapter was really sad, with their lost baby. I wonder if they'll find a way to go back and get little William. *squeal* I love how you incorporate time travel/alternate reality stuff in your stories, so awesome. Can't wait for more! =)
