Reading this chapter was absolutely breathtaking! I could feel the love between Buffy and Spike. The raw emotion of finding your mate after such a long journey - to love in thought, word, and body. It was so moving! Making love - wow - if you could define that term somewhere this chapter would be its description. Marvelous!

This is by far one of the best if not THE best spuffy piece i have ever read. The storyline is amazing. especially the whole dawn being spike and buffy's daughter and darla being a potential...brilliant. oh and i LOVE the giles/anya thing....and OZ yay OZ. and oz/tara also quite brilliant. keep it going girl.

Excellent chapter update. Very well written scenes of intimacy and love. You had 34 people review your last chapter? Very luck of you. It takes quite a few chapters before I get that many. Wonderful chapter, Nia - I loved it... But I do every time :)) Loved the mating too. Hopefully this bond will be stronger than the Sire/Childe bond Dru helds over Spike. Loved the poem at the end of the chapter. And the poems you put in every time :) Thanks for updating.

I am still loving this story! It is one of my absolute favorites! I really enjoy how everyone seems to be getting along together and I feel sorry for Willow, I really hope that she can redeem herself but it really seems doubtful at this point in time! How will the rest of the Scoobies react to the claiming? Or will they even inform them? Please update soon!

Very sweet claiming scene. And the part later, two. A lot of love coming from both of them. Buffy finally has the assurance she needs that this time, with this man, she won't be left alone. And Giles, starting to admit his feelings, at least to himself. Now Xander just needs to move himself out of the picture, and everyone can be happy. Well, Xander might not be so happy, but who cares about that? Looking foward to seeing what the aftermath of the claim will be, if any. :)

HOLY F'N WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just took a shower, now i need another one a cold one. That was beautiful,erotic, sensual, touching, and damn well written. "you are my star in the night" etc...I mean i am a melting blubbering mess here. The claiming was so intense. Buffy knowing it was what she wanted and yet struggled to find the words.
