Excellent job with the physical and emotional set up for Buffy to just let herself go. Spike needing to help with the soap was a plausible opening to his washing her hair. The descriptions of her emotions and the sexual tension kept the chapter taut. Lovely job with this entire chapter.

Another emotionally fulfilling chapter. They're turning to one another organically, and it's lovely to read. Buffy slipping into her undergarments in front of Spike wouldn't be shocking to her - the outfit probably covers more than she wears to school every day. It still reveals a growing level of intimacy between the couple. I'm eagerly anticipating Spike "helping" with the bath.

Ah, geez, I really, really like this story. The camaraderie between Buffy and Spike is natural, and flows well. Between Buffy's self-doubt and Spike's growth as a person (ie maturity), this is a refreshing read.

This chapter did a good job moving Spike and Buffy's relationship forward. They've been relying on one another, but Buffy finally admitting her dislike of her weakness and thanking Spike for helping showed a new softness, The dialogue was excellent, as usual, and the attention to detail makes the scenes come alive. I especially liked the physical details in Buffy's sunstroke, with Spike ministering to her through her dizziness and weakenss - it made her confession to him come naturally.

Just found this story and got really into. Excellent writing and an interesting stroyline. I like time travel and especially human Spike. Great chapter!
