Oh, he so better not do the whole kissing and denial thing. Where did that kiss come from anyway? I wasn't expecting that to happen so soon. Can't say that I'm not happy it did though. It's not so weird for me anymore as it was in the beginning. I realize that a relationship between the two of them in this story could be really cute. I'm sure Angel wouldn't be happy about it, but we don't want him to be happy anyway. Him being happy could only lead to badness. I think brooding looks good on him...lol! Anyway, I love this story and I hope you have more goodness soon=)

Oh boy. Buffy may be on cloud nine from his lips now, but when Spike gives her the old "I shouldn't have done that and let's pretend it never happened" speech, as he will inevitably do, she is going to be heartbroken. Boy oh boy, you are weaving some incredible angst here. I can just see that fragile heart of Buffy's dangling precariously on a shelf, just waiting for the right nudge to send it crashing to the ground. You have perfectly captured Buffy's voice and emotions for the age she is at. Wonderful chapter Ashlee. I can't wait to see the morning after the kiss.
