WOW! GREAT ENDING (but yes, a sequel would be most excellent!). Love how the Coven is keeping the Watcher's Council in line! And that gift bestowed on Spike, FANTASTIC! Now that they are both daywalkers, it would be great to have a sequel with the further adventures of day-time tolerant B & S. LOVED IT. WOULD LOVE A SEQUEL as well!

I'm relieved Xander didn't die. Crafty twist, I wasn't expecting that. *wink* I love it when Spike gets to walk in the light, now Buffy and he can go have picnicks at the park and go swimming at the beach. Yay. So happy Joyce ended up with Giles. They are cute together. Finally, funny about Faith. I vote sequel! But hurry up and finish Duty or Destiny first. I just know that is going to be a wonderful read.

aww how cute i LOVED this story it was so sweet and adorable. i loved that she loved him and was mated to him so quikly after being turned. i loved how things ended for all the characters and am so happy that i read this story. this story kicked ass and i hope that there is a sequel. your such a great writer and im so happy that i read your story. thanx u so much for writing it i loved reading it

So sad that it's over. I would love to see a sequel, even an epilogue would be better than nothing! Really amazing story, I loved readng it!

Author's Response: Sorry to disappoint but Chapter 15 was the epilogue. I just didn't want to title it epilogue. That is why it is The End of the Beginning. I had a feeling that a sequel would be wanted based on what I had heard after Chapter 14. Revenge is basically the beginning for them. The sequel, and yes I've had an amazing response to want one so I'll do it, will be called Living For Love.

So Xander is Xander and yet - not. No vampire at last. A spell? *reading on* BTW - I like this Xander better *smile* Oh - and it was another one from the council? He deserved it - sorry to say, but it's the truth (how I feel). Mmm - prophecy! Very interesting. And Spike and Dalton have part of their souls too? Spike was always a bit different. Wow - Buffy will abolish the council? What kind of gift did Athena give William? I'm not sure I should be - but I'm sad Drusilla is dead now. Great chapter!

So all is set for Angelus and looks good. Yeah, the priest is right - would doim better to be careful in SD ;-) Oh - who's the ebony skinned woman? Kendra? Not sure.. And then - action! Awe, I love you Joyce! She's a fighter too when it comes to her daughter :) Yay - Angelus didn't expect this huh? First Buffy is alive (kinda), then she is a vampire and then she is an Aurelian - and then - she's Spike's mate! Take this, Angelus! lol. Loved it! Oh - it is Kendra indeed.And Angelus is no more. I can't say that I'm sad about this. Huh? Xander. Told ya - Dalton didn't witness the death of Xander. But how did he get away? And the better question - why is he on Buffy's and Spike's side? Mmmm curious. Will hop to the next chapter. I printed it out because of a thunderstorm, and you have the next chapter up here, too :)
