I knew Lily would be back. I think it was a little insightful of her to figure out that she and Gunn were only good together when they were sneaking around...at least to figure it out that quick. I hope Buffy finds her peace with Spike... and what is her deal anyway?
Author's Response: LOL We needed Lily to show up- it added some closure for Spike. Is the fact she was insightful about Gunn a good thing? As for Buffy's deal, she's just being cautious now, I guess. She wants to make things right, even though I think inwardly she wants to sleep with Spike again:)

Lily is a bad person who got rejected *jumping for joy*, Andrew got Lorne, and Spike and Buffy are starting to date. This chap was the bom! The only thing I had a question about is the fact that when Lily asked, "More than you cared about me?", Spike didn't say anything. One might think he still wants to be with her.
Author's Response: LOL I hate Lily. The two couples are a-okay in my book and are doing well together so far. The only reason why I had Spike not answer is because obviously he loved Lily enough to be engaged to her, and he doesn't love Buffy yet, so he had to have cared about Lily more than he does for Buffy at this point. Once they fall in love, that will obviously change. I'm happy you liked the chapter!:)

Yay, Lorne! I had a feeling it was him. He is the coolest demon ever. Well, he won't be a demon here, but still very cool. Clem comes in second. Anyway, I figured Lily would make her presence known again. It's just really sad that she expected him to take her back after she was cheating. I so think Andrew could bitch slap her...lol! He has my vote. Still loving this=)

well I am hanging in there but it is turning out to be more about Andrews heartache than Spuffy...silly Buffy, do you really think she would react like that?I am kinda confused and what happenend to the ex of Spikes, he sure got over that fast...
Author's Response: Andrew is in a lot of my stories because I like his character and he's fun to throw in there, but he's got someone now and it's obvious to everyone that he'd never stand a chance with Spike. As for Spuffyness, there's more of that on the way... once they work out their issues. If I were Buffy, I'd react like that- she messed up a bit and needs to think things through. About Lily, Spike knew a little bit in advance that things weren't going well for them, and the fact that he found Buffy attractive pre-breakup helps the situation a bit.

Buffy you silly bint! I was surprised that Spike wasn't already mad after the way she dissed him in the morning. How could she kick him to the curb like that? *sigh* Okay, Buffy bashing is finished. Loved the chapter. I hope it doesn't take too long for Buffy to work out her 'issues'. Spike was adorable in this one.

I'm happy Spike was somewhat enjoyable in the chapter because I thought he was getting kind of evil at one point LOL And yes, Buffy didn't react too well, which isn't good considering the fact she's the one who started things the night before. Yeah, I'm thinking no on that one. Anyway, I don't think Spike will never understand women. I'm actually gonna have to agree with Buffy on this one. They have been moving a bit too fast and she has the right idea with wanting to slow things down, but maybe that's just me. I mean come on, doing it in the kitchen? That is so not sanitary...lol! Okay. I'm a little disappointed they jumped to the sex so quickly. I'm a lover of anticipation. But the scene itself was very hot. Hmmm, Spike and chocolate sauce. Doesn't get better than that.
Author's Response: I'm happy the sex scene worked- I was skittish of writing it like that. And yes, they jumped to the sex very quickly, but one of them will say something in the next chapter that points to that. I didn't think there would be angst anymore... but I've changed my mind LOL
