I finally caught up! i have to say i'm kinda sad lol. I'm totally loving this story with all my heart and now it saddens me that i have to wait for updates like the impatient little bugger that i am. Something in Mya's voice roused Spike where Buffy had failed - coincidence? Or is there a reason behind it? Buffy was gone a long time for Spike, Mya's been there in the more recent past.
Mmmh when the portal was open and Spike was anxious, not sure if it was more about Buffy could go through the portal and be gone as for the fear that Buffy will get hurt.
Hadn't thought that Xander would be supportive of Buffy loving Spike. But Buffy was gone (believed dead) for a long time. And Xander seems to have grown up.
while you still can That's the point; no clue how it will end. If Buffy can stay there (out of jail or executed) she still has lost a big part of her family. And when going back Spike will loose what he has now, his wife and Mya, his child. Really not sure how he would decide.

Yay! I was so shocked to see one of my favorite stories updated! Loved it as usual! Can't wait for another chapter!

I have to say - I just discovered this fic today and as you've only updated it today, I am sooooo happy! I was desolate at the thought that this fic had been abandoned. Now imagine my delight to discover that not only is it still being updated, but that it is ACTIVELY updated! All I can say is: THANK YOU! Truly, you made my otherwise crappy day much brighter. :)

Read this one in three settings:) Very unique concept and I adore the angst. Sometimes the language used was slightly un Spike or Buffy like but I enjoyed the banter still the same. I could easily see a Joey/Pacey character using this dialog more so then Buffy/Spike...but still loving it! I also would have thought that after so much time had passed that the Willow and Xan relationship with Buffy would be slightly different. People get older and forget and grow apart with age...its natural. Only in your story, they seemed kinda trapped in time and Im not sure that realistic enough. I have friends from 15 years ago who I have not seen because we could not find each other. We were the best of friends now...but now is all about playing catch up and you can never get those years back and its almost impossible to just go back to that...anyway, over all..i loved the creativity involved and how the future you have seems totally plausible with the way you set up New Sunnydale. However, I question some of the characteristics of the characters. U never hit on the fact that Faith might actually be the stronger slayer either..that would have been a nice fight. I also find it hard to think that things would have went almost exactly as they did at the end of season 7 cander as they did without Buffy. Would Angel really have given Spike the amulet without Buffy..? This is very doubtful. Thye might have figured out the slyth thing and Potential senero but it went sooo smoothly in your story...Why did they really need Buffy at all...lol Anyway, I look fwd to some Spuffy loving so you NEED to hurry up with that!!..J/K...Best wishes and I hope you update soon.

great story, ddint think id like it as spufffy stories dont ususally apeal to me but this one is amazing but really REALLY needs to be finished!

I'm so happy to see that you've posted a new chapter! The tension between Buffy and Spike was great. I love how you write their interactions. Even with the big gaps in posts, I'm still very interested in this story.
