Great job with your battle scene -

Wow...two chapters got by me. How did that happen? Thank you...loved both of them. This chapter was amazing. You managed to keep me right there with everyone in the battle & not lose the tension building & rolling through the chapter. There was an element of sadness too that so many of the slayers & others were losing...sacrificing their lives. You gave the scenes emotional depth by showing what everyone was thinking during the battle. My eyes were glued to my computer screen. I loved the small moments between Buffy & Spike...those moments revealed a lot. Loved this..."He was at her side when she came to her feet, hell he was always at her side, always had been"...followed a couple of lines later by this..."She followed him in; maybe it was her that was always at his side." A lovely moment of clarity during battle. Angel made me laugh & roll my eyes with scenes like these..."He moved to follow, drawn as always to protect her, his beautiful fragile Buffy." He is a bit clueless, isn't he? You created an excellent action packed & emotional chapter. I am more than “Ready” for more.
