i think i've read this before - and it's just as touching and achingly invocative as it was before. i love how spike seems to be the only one to truly see what buffy needed. well, that came out wrong. no one likes to see someone else's loved one just not get it. but apparently spike got buffy, really got what it was she really needed. i would have loved to have read more of this intriguing tale ...

Wow. SOOOO how the episode should have gone. I hate how it actually is...you know it reality. lol. I wanted Buffy - to get angry - hit something or someone. Seems Spike is needed for Buffy to stand up to her friends as is proved in Season Seven. I love the S7 episode where Spike is like "You sad sad ungrateful traitors." Best thing ever..well almost. lol.

I am beyond happy you decided to start writing this story again. I am completely in love with it. lol. You writing style is so perfect and I get so absorbed in the story. I just can't stop reading until there is nothing left. I hope you continue writing this. I will always be a reader. :)

Gooooo, Spike!!!!! That was beautiful!! I love that Cordy was sympathetic of the truth for Buffy. She's not going to let Xander forget this night any time soon.

I just remembered a quote I found some days ago: "A true friend stabs you in the front." (Oscar Wilde). I thought of it after Willow's speech. Buffy's so called friends don't accept Buffy back with open arms... as if only they had to suffer (see Willow). Good in this case Spike is there, supporting Buffy. Because neither Buffy's friends nor her mom supports her. Maybe Joyce will be better the next day like Spike thought about. ~ Looking forward to more :)
