It's a good idea for a story, but you might want to look into getting a beta-reader. There are a lot of little mistakes that spell-check doesn't always catch, and sometimes it can be difficult for a reader to get into a story if there are a lot of grammatical errors forcing them to replace letters or punctuation. As one of my professors loves to say, the casual reader does not want to have to think while they're reading; it can take away from the enjoyment of the story." Having an experienced beta double check your story will go a long way in improving the readability of a story.

I am curious to see where you are going with this story, though. It souds like it will be very interesting.
