Really loving this fic!

My eyes are bloodshot and a little swollen. I'm dehydrated and a little hungry. And i'm aching to read more.

I'm thinking, reading all 27 chapters in one sitting might have seemed like a brilliant plan at first, but turns out: its so isn't. But I AM loving this story, if that part wasn't clear.

The plot. THE. PLOT. Love it. Buffy in denial, Angel being the bastard and Spike the everloving hero with a side of rebel. And really like Xander and Willow, so much like early canon, no creepy black!Willow here, thanks.

And God, the frustration I felt with Buffy and her weak mind. Yes weak. That frustration came swiftly and strong, and at one point I was loudly exclaiming profanities at the computer (I'm sorry my lovely mac, it's not your fault) and making weird facial expressions. Think the Scream-mask, you know the white ghosty thing? It was so spot-on though, so very Buffy-like and such a believable turn of events. So like her to let herself be dictated and controlled by those who claim to love her (i.e. Angel) and putting herself last.

The "not exactly"-rape? My god. How stupid was Buffy there? There was no "not exactly" about it! Rape! "He's my husband, therfore he can do what he wants with my body, whenever he wants to." Victorian-era? What? Cave-man philosophy? What time am I in?

Okay, sorry, I'm gonna stop now. The rambling is a result of reading all the chapters and not enough sleep. I think. My brain isn't working properly. It's a miracle I can even type this ;D

Seriously though, love the story as it unfolds and blossoms. Can you update soonish? :D

GOD!! It nearly pains me how good this story is! It is just one of those stories where you feel compelled to read each and every word, just cuz it's all so good! The plot is well thought out and the characters are recognisable, showing great characterisation. It would be a great dissapointment if you don't finish it! It needs closure!!!!

Grrr, wanna slap Buffy and kick Spike! Wake up, both of you!

I hope Buffy finds out what she's worth and that it'll be Spike showing her ;)

It was lovely to have this bit of playful calm in all this angst, though you believably brought Buffy's past into it a few times. There's been so much loss and sorrow, it's impossible to just push it down even for an entire day.

The mess is still waiting in New York, but this chapter gave me hope that there really is light at the end of this tunnel.
