Thank you for continuing to write this wonderful story. I am sorry about your situation although you are still with us and each day can be wonderful. i almost lost my sight about 10 years ago and i got it back not perfect so now i enjoy seeing my grandkids daily. i really wish you the very best!

And am very glad to see you've picked this story up again! It was far too good to be left in the 'unfinished fic grave-yard'! Your writing gives the characters (tho' recycled from the show) layers and depth anew. I'm shocked to learn why you took a while before you updated again. I'm sad to hear that you had tumors in your brain. That must be awful thing to go through. But I'm more than happy that you are feeling better. That is great news. I wish nothing but the best health for you. Take good care of yourself.
As for the story. This is one of my favorite Spuffy stories. I have read it so many times. I'm worried for both Spike and Buffy. They both must be hurting so much. Angel is such a good friend to Spike. Being worried about him and Buffy. I love the brother type love between Spike and Angel. I like reading them as good friends every once in a while. LOL

Spike laying waste to their once happy home is just heart hurting, and I'm left wondering who Buffy has turned to now that she's screwed everything up.

Thanks for updating this emotional story. It's always good to see where it's going, even when it hurts this badly.

With the new chapters, I'm taking the opportunity to re-read this charming, heart felt story. The closeness and connection between these two grows stronger every day. That part is lovely to read. That falsehood, and the fact Buffy hasn't been able to share it with anyone, must be adding immeasurable stress on her. That certainly can't be good for the baby.

I so appreciate that you have posted a chapter to one of my absolute favorite AU stories even after a year and I do hope you can continue to write as you are so talented and interesting an author. wow, painfully raw emotion. I just found this site and the story recently and I'm glad you stated that you would stick through it -- not an easy task -- because it gives me hope of reading a happy ending. What's gonna happen next? She could disappear, go back to her friends, he could suddenly come to the realization that he loves her anyway and what all her previous tears meant: she hated lying to the man she loved. (doubtful simply because this is Spike and he's always too passionate about drinking so it could take him weeks to look back and read the signs... though I hope not!) I hate how he wouldn't let her tell him the whole story but then when are we ever able to listen to someone who betrayed us with rationality?
Thanks again, I really feel for these children, this version of the characters are so innocent is painful at times.
