must say that I love this story. It is one of my favorite spuffy stories. I always look for a new chapter to this story.

I like how Spike asked Cordy to help him with the house. I like to see spike have friends. Cause it seems like in a lot of stories it is always buffy with the one with friends.

I just want to hug Spike. He is being such a wonderful husband and father to be. That is great. What a man.

Chapter made sense for me... Spike is trying to 'make a nest'. He's right, the apartment will be a bit small. If Buffy would have seen how Spike reacted to Lilah she would have felt more secure about Spike's feelings. And a lot worse for her lie.

just read this whole story. for some reason I just kept passing it. Really glad that i decided to read it. It is a really good story.

Buffy should tell spike soon. I mean I had a friend who did the same thing. Kept it a secret for a really long time. the guy was so hurt to find out that the son he loved for 4 years wasn't really his. I mean of course he still loved him as his son. But still.

That is one thing good about female. You know for sure if the kid is yours. I always felf for those men who are lied too. And believe me it happens a lot. Dont see how women can do that.

Oh, and just want to say that you sound like you are a great family man. That is really sweet and wonderful. just like you are making spike in this story. wish i had a man like that.

Author's Response: Yeah, I... understand, how something like that can hurt (having been in a somewhat similar situation), and I may not think it right for a woman to... lie like that but... I understand how they could feel the need to do so. In this it was because Buffy was afraid of being alone, which is a fear that makes you do not so right things, but then again, she never said the words "it's yours" she just let him believe so, and didn't correct him. A lie, still, yes. And still wrong, but without it, we'd have no fic, and we wouldn't want that now, would we? lol ;P

I don't know how great of a family man I am, but I do consider myself one. I love both my sons, biological and not, and my wife. They're my world, and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to know that you can tell that much from my writing and a few author notes :)

Oh I love it, my daughter has never been into Winnie the pooh, I think it is because we never had it on the tv. it wasn't on till she was 3.5 and by then in daycare during the time they had the show, I reconized the song right away, it just didn't seem like something Spike would sing to me.

Author's Response: Yeah, he probably wouldn't of sang that song, but I doubt a Sex Pistols' song would work in this... though they do have apt lyrics, "you're a liar..." :P It wasn't so much Winnie the Pooh that made me like the song, it was the fact that it's Kenny Loggins (did i just lose mad cool points in admitting that? lol) His music is... a guilty pleasure, I guess, and at least it's better than ABBA :P
