Engaged to Riley, huh? Wow, that must have been some deep love, really tough and moving. Being engaged to some dense log three years after finding THE ONE. I don´t know, is it just me, but I wouldn´t dream of that so shortly after losing Mr. Right. Weird. Do people really marry just for the heck of it? I still think marriage is big. That story ingredient freaks me out.
Author's Response: Actually, people do get married for reasons outside of true love. Not me personally because I couldn't imagine being with anyone other than my husband. In my mind, Buffy really does care about Riley, but just not as much as she loves Spike, but she thought that whole boat had already sailed. I'll try to explain it a bit more in the next couple of chapters. Hope you stick around even though that aspect freaked you out! Thanks for the review!
