This was a wildly erotic chapter. Spike is able to read Buffy beautifully, and he's playing her body like a finely made violin. Her responsiveness is a joy to read, but her insecurities keep coming to the fore.

The last scene, with Spike arriving in the elevator, was actually quite scary. The lack of dialogue lent a menace to the sex, but you did a good job making it clear that Buffy was into it. I really think Buffy could come through this weekend unable to walk.

Animalistic Spike. I love him. Gotta wonder what brought that on. Love her loving it as well. Great chapter. Always excited to see more.

I'm really enjoying this story as usual when it is one written by you.

I do have to say I never understand when I read notes at the end or beginning of a story explaining the author's position on what has or hasn't been written. In my opinion the reader should sit back, enjoy the story and review to let the author know they are writing a good story. It drives me crazy when people think an author should conform to how they think the story should be or justify why it isn't. To me the choice is read or don't and if you think you can do better then have at it!

Keep up the great work. I for one trust the direction you plan on taking us and appreciate the work it takes to write a quality story.

Ooo, snarly Spike's coming out to play! I wonder if he had just come back from feeding or something, and that's why he was still in game face. Excellent chapter! The true confessions part was so sweet, both of them admitting that they're falling. And I like that you've written this in Buffy's POV only. The mystery surrounding Spike is really enjoyable and I'm content for it to last as long as possible. Looking forward to more!

Hmm, seems Buffy just had sex with vamped out Spike in the dark. Did he just come back from a kill, I wonder.

Great chapter - very hot - but here we all are expecting Buffy to say "oh yeah the bloke I'm sleeping with is a Vampire". If someone told me my boyfriend was a Vampire I'm sure I wouldn't accept it. Yeah Spike is getting more violent during sex and far more bitey (is that a word?) but I'm not sure Vampire would be the first thing that came into my mind. We know he's a Vampire so are in on the secret. This is in no way a criticism just an observation - I love this story - and would assume that Spike has just returned from feeding (we must assume he still is because that is what he initially took Buffy for - isn't it?). Am really looking forward to your next update.

Good call with keeping it all with Buffy POV, although I think most of the readers knows what's coming it's just fun following Buffy this way. I find that if an author does several POV and especially the one that is a secret then the whole mystery flies out the window since you can have a character lie to another and conceal his true agenda but you can't really have that if you are inside his head then it's just stupid.

This story is so HOT, I think I should stop reading it at work, as I'm the only woman in a department full of men... *blushes*

I can't wait to read what's next, and I adore the way Spike tries to balance his feelings with his needs, as well as how responsive Buffy seems to be even towards his more primal urges!
