Well, now that you mentioned it...no one has asked about her have they? You know, for me it may be b/c everything seems so original with your story that I'm waiting for you to introduce her to me. Even though you've used the same characters from the show you've changed the names and repositioned relationships (ie Dorn being Spike's sister) and surroundings in such an atypical way, thereby changing my expectations completely (so much so that I really have none-except for the legend you invented-clever, clever). Spike doesn't even seem like our Spike. Oh, there are aspects (quite a few) that are HIM, but what you've done here is create a world so new that I won't even presume to know these characters. I only wait in earnest for the brilliant author to allow me more. And oh how I want more.
So...is it Faith? Or Faythe? TeHee! :)
Author's Response: I hope my version of Spike is still appealing to readers - it's hard when I can't rely on his normal speech patterns - plus I had to imagine his personality with a different history and responsibilities (as a soldier rather than carer, although I hope a few nurturing qualities are still there). Your review did me the world of good - and Faythe? wrong but nice try - will be using your spelling later in the fic if you don't mind. ;)

I'm totally loving this fic!! I've just discovered it and while I admit I was a bit sceptic a first, it was just great! I just can't wait to see what is going to happen now!! wonderful story, great pace in the writing i love it!

It made me very happy to see them finally come together and care for each other. Finally an update! I am currently trying to find my heart because after reading that last bit it fell out of my body and is rolling around on the floor. Poor Spike and Buffy! Finally she feels comfortable and then BAM! craziness. Can't wait for the next chapter, I am so curious how Buffy is going to react to the changes.
