I do that! every night I'm lulled into sweet dreams by James reading me a Dresden book and its very soothing after working long hours with the mega boss-lady!

The last chap was spectacular! I have to commend Spike, he had a hellava chance to get into Buffy's pants and he played the gentleman through and through! I always love "dance scenes" with Buffy & Spike (the Spike persona is one of the most senuous characters I've seen in years!) I am able to pictures every slide of hand, every small tough and tremor when I read about them dancing together (and of course Buffy's no slouch in the sexy dancing either!) I can picture them so perfectily dancing, pratically making love on the dance floor together and your tale just bring it all into focus so clear!

I can't wait for the next few chaps to move our couple along (especially now that they have a oouple champions to the cause - even if they don't know it yet) and of course, I am especially excited by the prospect of Angel getting the boot. I hope he does something crass and Buffy sees the light!

it's been a crazy week for me, but it's finally friday night and i got to catch up with this story! i've said it before, and i'll probably say it again - i love how spike's caring and loving nature is emerging under the bad boy. you make sense of his contradictory nature. AND it's in a fun, intriguing plot. :D

Spike finagling an entire weekend alone with Buffy was charming, as was his insistence she come out dancing with him. His overprotective possessiveness was in character, and I enjoyed his self reflection and coming to the conclusion that he's really angling to get into a relationship with this woman and it scares him to death. I just love your drunk Buffy. She's so soft and sweet and open. Buffy initiating the kissing was lovely, and I really felt Spike's struggle to restrain himself.

I can't wait to see what Buffy remembers of their night out. The dancing was romantic, and I can't believe she'd be wasted enough to completely forget the kissing. She really is a light weight, though.

Poor Buffy - I do love to write her drunk, it's fun, and writing SPike as being chivalrous concerning the kiss he allowed himself, yeah - major struggle there for him. Aww, Buffy was missing Spike and worrying about him, and Spike is turning into a such a thoughtful gentleman where Buffy's feelings are concerned... things are definitely progressing nicely for the pair. Loved Spike's big plan to keep Buffy away from Angel, I kinda hope Angel finds out that Buffy would rather watch her favorite tv show instead of spend time with him... lol! Great chapter! :D
