oh god, there's gonna be crap. lots and lots of crap. there's gonna be a fight and a break-up and some slimey Angel boasting. i can just see it now. i loved this chapter and that picture is awesome! kind of weird but awesome! can't wait for the next chapter tomorrow!! catching up, thank God! but this one chapter a day thing SUCKS!!!!

Ahh! The great forehead still manages to prey on Buffy even after she gave him the kabbosh—just another sign of how well this story is going. The chapter showed great little couple-y moments, if only to fool the father-son creeps or point-out what’s absolutely great about Buffy and Spike’s relationship. Thanks again for bringing Cordy and Willy together. Even though they never shared a scene together in the Buffyverse, you’ve really flushed out the great snarking potential that would’ve been possible if Willy had wandered over to LA for the Angel series. That Angelus is so evil, that he doesn’t even need to mention the bet at this point.

You did an excellent job setting up the ball, and I could picture the two of them before I got to the picture. Angel and Liam are both very creepy. I can't believe Liam was so wasted he'd forgotten having insulted Buffy with his advances. At least Spike was right that staking his claim on Buffy shut down a repeat performance.

The evening did not turn into the romance fest I was expecting, but I hadn't figured Angel would be able to manipulate Buffy's opinion so easily. The lingering bet is still making me uneasy. Is Buffy going to come clean about what Angel implied and allow Spike to defend himself?

I'm looking forward to next week's answers.

ok, this is the second time I've written, I don't know what happened to the first one, in cyberspace I assume. so I loved the chapter, and that Spike was all protective of Buffy with the big bad wolves. and Angelus is such a prick, using Buffy's tragedy to try and move in, that is low for even him, he is a snake in the grass..........I hope Buffy sees thru him. Great picture by the way. And I loved Buffy saying she "saved the best for last", always my theory on things.
