Fabulous! Fabulous! Oh man, I was actually pissed that I had to stop reading so that I could watch the season finale of LOST. But you can bet I was back on my computer as soon as the credits rolled! I just love this and I hope you don't make us wait too long for the next chapter. I'm really enjoying your writing style and it definitely has its own unique stamp, so bravo! It gets tiring reading the same phrases and the same scenarios all the time. This is really something special, funny, touching, charming, heart breaking and hopeful. Can't wait for more!

Still lovin' it!!! And you have warmed the pyro in me to the cockles of my little heart. I should have known Faith was a pyro! Are you meaning to be vague on what Dru and Spike were formerly up to, or will you be 'splainin' at a later date? So he previously wasn't a nice guy at all. And---snicker---Faith of all people got him to clean his act up? I love it. Yet he'd written a novel as well...and ripped it up (bet there's a copy someplace, like in Xander's underwear drawer or a box labeled 'comic books' that he will yank out at the appropriate time. I'm gathering Dru either broke his heart and/or he wanted to get clear of her and that life, break free? But how does Buffy play into this? He's not going to want to leave her, for sure...or will she go with him? Or will he stay, only to have Dru re-enter the picture somehow? The events, now centering on his leaving and the past (or more?) with Dru, are quite suspenseful and enjoyable. Am definitely looking forward to more!
Oh, and tho' I do really like the ritual burning, I'd reserve that for any stuff still around that I had no use for from any theoretical ex-lovers, fiances, hubby, whatever...and a wedding dress??? Heck, I'd sell that on Ebay, and laugh all the way to the bank!

You'll find out more about Dru and Spike's past, don't worry...definitely used to be more "Spike"-like then he's been thus far in this story, let us leave it at that...Good point on the wedding dress, but little miss spoiled Buffy probably didn't even think of how she could have made a profit off of the dress! Hehe. So glad you're enjoying the story, and thanks for the great review!

This was a great chapter. I am glad that buffy stood up for herslef. Also that spike defended her. And i am glad that we had more questions with spike and buffy. Faith is great in this. She is cool and strong without being mean and evil. I am glad that angel got what he deserved.
Hopefully there won't be anymore problems with him. But, what with spike leaving. Please don't let him go. please continue this and update again soon.

The alcohol and the stress of the day are acting like a truth serum on Buffy. The chaotic emotions feel right. Her instincts not to just kiss Spike were sound. She's just left a man at the altar, should she really jump on the next nice guy just to feel better?
