The scene at the Magic Box, calling Giles to task for letting Willow school herself was delightful, and you kept the tension and the hard truths coming. I love that Spike put himself out there, challenging Willow in front of Giles, just to prove a point.
This incredibly self assured, sexy Buffy is also wonderful. The coming together was erotic and super charged, and I love how completely spun but willing to go with it your Spike is.

Good for Spike, doing that little demonstration for Giles, Bit risky testing Tara's protection that way though! I wonder what Willow had intended? Also good for Giles, finally accepting he had to do something about Willow.

I'm enjoying your story; do have a question though, British person, what the heck is/are plimsolls??
Author's Response: It's a British term for those very thin sneakers with canvas tops and rubber soles. Those used to be the only athletic shoes around for ages, from 1860-1960 and Spike, being Brit and 120 yrs old, would likely think of that term first. I'm Canadian, but my guy's a Brit and he said, "Well, we say 'plimsolls' even now," so I used it. We had a bet on whether anyone would ask. :D

wow that was absolutely amazing. i just started reading this today and all ready i want more. i love how spike told giles off he deserved it and hopefully willow and xander will wake up and realize whats going on around them. can't wait to see where this goes next.

Spike taught Giles a lesson. Took him (Giles) a while to believe that Willow needs help. Sounds as if he'll act now.
