I suck at reviews but do at least want to say how MUCH I enjoyed reading this again. Wonderful story and use of Merrick, Buffy, really all the characters with Willow perhaps needing a bit more story support for her sudden epiphany on dependence and misuse of her powers.

Your treatment for Xander in this chapter is wonderful - loved their conversation in the kitchen. Nice to have a change from their mutual animosity that was part of the series and for many fanfiction works.

I enjoyed this very much - second time reading and I think I liked it even more this time -

Was wonderful to have her history with Merrick connected - plus, good changes from the series - just enough to bring both together. I have to however say, that the entire Xander "I Love You" was not something that I ever felt resolved "Darth Willow." I do think it works better here before Willow did some real damage.

i loved this story. do you plan to write any sequels concerning any of the "adventures" that merrick has hinted at?

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked this story! It was the first thing I ever wrote because I wanted a link between the film and the series. And yes, I plan on writing several one-shots along the way... any 'adventure' you'd like to see? Thanks for the review!
