Clever, Rihar did it on purpose, doing the challenge earlier. But I didn't expect the really reason he did it for.
No wonder Rihar liked his place better. It really has its advantages.
Spike was gambling high, waiting for Buffy to make a decision. And Buffy stood up at last for herself. She had a good teacher, being in the other dimension. Got a taste of freedom, huh?

This seems oddly reminiscent of Buffy's break it off speech with the whole "It's killing me" spiel. But I don't think she was ever using him. If anything, saying she was using him is a way to explain the relationship without admitting deeper feelings. Ah. Denial. I hear the weather is quite nice in Egypt this time of year.

What a beautiful chapter, and so sad with Buffy convinced she can't keep the relationship once they get back to Sunnydale and Spike resigned to losing her. I like the new confident Anya, she knows exactly what she's doing and is loving every minute. Good for her.

Had to giggle too when said Kiharn said Time for the boy to have his own sons. That will teach him.
Just imagine how Xander would react if he feared he would become a werepanther too. Totally in panic. *gg*
Buffy though seems to be able to change her attitude, to learn something. Like Serrai said, only right to give Spike some blood when he got hurt because of her. Hot too :)
And even if she fled, at last she acknowledged that she don't want to lose Spike.
