You know I will never complain about fluff, I love me some sugary sweetness. I loved this chapter, it was something to take my mind off of how badly I want to kill Travers. I know the problems are right around the corner for them, but I'm glad nothing happened to ruin the ceremony and that they're officially married for real.
Author's Response: ;) Thanks Tammy! Yesterday I kept joking that the chapter was going to give me a cavity, and this morning, I woke up with a jaw ache. LOL! Nah, but I had fun writing the chapter. Got a little swept up in the romance and the fluffy, but there's nothing wrong with that every once in a while, right?
There's some intense Faith stuff coming around the corner, and you can probably bet money that she's gonna be in Sunnydale pretty damned soon. :)

Author's Response: :) Thanks! Yeah, I've been getting some grief for Faith letting Dana into the apartment. But, for all Faith knew, the drug hadn't worked. I mean, the girl shows up frantic, and they don't know exactly what this drug is supposed to do. I guess Faith should have been smarter than to let Dana in, but at the same time, one wouldn't think a shot of something would screw up someone so completely that they'd become a danger.
Anyway....more on that soon!

I kind of cringed writing this chapter, because while my head kept screaming at me that Faith would just get the hell out of dodge, part of me needed her to stay, because as much as Faith is self-serving, she's also not the same girl she was back in Sunnydale. There's a kinship between the two of them because they've both been through a hell of a lot. Anyway...I'm still working out the kinks. More up soon!

Author's Response: Thanks Cordy! Obviously, Travers is the one perverting the entire Council's name. So he's not going by the book at all. His idea for a little pain-removal was just the beginning. Essentially, what he's doing, is building a Slayer to his liking. Faith's too rebellious, and Buffy is too, in her own way, and Dana's his perfect opportunity to have a Slayer that'll do the things he needs her to do. Of course, this almost automatically spells doom for the Scoobies and for Faith. But that's something that only time will reveal...:)

Not being able to walk in the sun starts to bother Spike. He wouldn't be in time to save his child if it is in the sun. Hopefully they'll find a solution in the long run, may it be through the claim or magic.

That was hot. It was nice that Buffy and Spike got some time alone for a little while. Dawn having sex wasn't a surprise I figured she would. I can't believe they did that to Dana but I'm not surprised I just hope that Faith can help her before it's to late.
Author's Response: :) Thanks Jenn! Yeah, it was only a matter of time. I kinda didn't buy it that they had Dawn lose her virginity somewhere between the end of Season 7 and the comics. I mean, Buffy was 17. And Dawn was getting kinda smoochy with vamp-boy in Season 6. I figured she'd have had a little more experience by the end of the series. Not that I would've wanted her to, because Dawn felt like a little sister to me (though and I are similar in ages, LOL) but still.
