I was expecting Buffy to snap at Spike in the elevator, but it was great that she was so embarrassed. Good chap., esp. Buffy threatening Willow in getting a new best friend if she doest that again to her.

*LOL* Poor Buffy's confused. I was kinda cringing too at her audition. Already our two blond favorites have met, even though nothing's happened yet. Hmm... curious about Spike's situation... he feels like he's meant for the big stuff. :) Can't wait for more!

The entire process of auditioning was very entertaining, and I enjoyed Willow's over enthusiastic fervor compared to Buffy's dread at each stage of the process. Spike's reaction to his new job is also stellar. He's going to think Buffy's an attention seeking bimbo no matter what she said in the audition. This is lots of fun.

If I don't mix the stories I've seen two (or three?) here and a German one. Married By America by Weeza (Giles asks Buffy and Spike to investigate a reality TV show by taking part in it. Buffy soon learns that being stuck in a house alone with Spike is going to be more difficult than she realized. Takes place during season 6 but mostly AU.) The other was totally AU, can't remember the title at the moment (they had to solve tasks there like climbing etc.) - you could try

~ Heh... Spike almost talked Buffy out of it :) Good that Willow was so determent to have her participate (doing the audition). Well Buffy with her normal job is indeed a 'normal' person. So she might be indeed the right woman for the job :D
