Good that Buffy noticed what Riley did.

Author's Response: I was also disappointed in the story that she never did get to see the true colors of Riley. He was rather mean and hateful. She just accepted some of what he did turning the other cheek even though what he did was wrong. That's what motivated me to write this fiction. I figured if Riley's true colors were seen, perhaps Buffy might be more willing to act on those feelings she seemed to be harboring still for Spike.
