Author's Response: hehehe I loved the reviews for this chapter, everybody was guessing :) Hourak is a good man, and his friendship to them is very important.

So glad to see Hourak relenting slightly. Buffy/Kaia would be safer away from the others though and it'll be easier for her to deal with the 'blood drinkers' without revealing her secret. Love the interaction between Tara & Spike, and Tara's thoughtfulness about her gift to the Oracles, is it a picnic? Oh, Willow.... {shakes head} You never learn... Buffy come back all tanned and happy? How can she be tanned when her body is wasting away at Revello Drive? Idiot!

Tara rocks, Joss missed that one big time *shakes head* and Willow, why does your brain work that way? Almost like she's lost her mind, huh......

Yeah, I was just sorry for Kaia that she had to suffer this (last chapter).
Hourak knows it - Groma leaving will hurt the clan more, she and Kaia will survive on their own. It was noble offer of Groma.
Good to see Tara reached the Oracles now. They like the gifts so hopefully they'll agree to bring Buffy back. Not Kaia I think but we'll see.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing faithfully CK. The Oracles are happy with the gifts, but I wonder just how much they will be able to help. Groma's life changed the day she found Kaia, and she will see it through, no matter what the costs. She is the best mom ever :)

Ah so Hourak is friends with Groma...darn lol. However, I loved how he was trying hard to make the situation still work for them both so that he wouldn't lose a trusted dear friend and their medicine woman for the clan. I noticed that he was more concerned about his friend than losing a medicine woman to the clan.
Hmm, I was wondering why didn't Spike go? It would have been interesting to hear what they said to him and if he was able to go in at all. However, I still like how you have it either way. Maybe, they will say something in regards to him even without him there? Hmmm wonders about that? Yeah thinking really hard with that one. Did Tara give a game of checkers or chess to them??? Or was there something else in there? Ugh can't wait! More update please. I'll tell ya more on EF heehee... Hugz and smoochies!

Author's Response: Heya Lissa! Yup, friends with Groma from way back. Hope you werent thinking they were more, cuz ewwww! Groma is clan uggo and Hourak cant be cute. I'm just sayin' Spike... stayed home to babysit the girls, taking back seat to Tara. Well, one of them needed to stay with Buffy. I figured, if Tara felt like she could handle it (which my Tara can) then Let her go. Tara will have a nice convo with those shiney weirdos, stay with me. Checkers/Chess huh? hmm I must say the guess from readers have me gigglin', just stay with, promise next chapter will reveal the gift. *smooches*

We got a peek at what all the characters are up to :D It's sad that Hourak has to banish Kaia. I can understand his decision, but still... *shakes fist* I doubt the other clan members would let her back in even if Hourak said it was okay, anyway :(

Tara's still uber-cool :D Very brave of her to meet with those creepy Oracles by herself - and they like the gift. Can't wait to see what it is :P

I think the girls will be safer away from the non-trusting cave people. At least the blood drinkers only come out at night... Tara Rocks, nuff said. Willow, shes in a world of trouble.
