But using magic to look human, I'd thought it would be too dangerous. Good Dawn stopped it.

Awww... that was so cute. Loved the Spuffyness. Eating the ice cream and the awkwardness and the shyness. This is a nice Buffy/ Spike.. how it could have been between them. If only.

Wow, I had two chapters to read today.
But I can't see Dawn falling for Clem, I must say. ~ Good to see that Buffy acknowledges that Spike wants to help her (fighting demons to her). Not sure how Buffy would feel if Spike tried to give her money.

Good chapter, Shakes! I liked that Spike walked away from her. He doesn't want to be used anymore, maybe if he had done this on the show things would have been better for them. Buffy says horrible things to Spike but inside she knows it's wong. *sigh*
Now I'm wondering what Clm's plan is. Hehehe.

oh, eww, don't tell me dawn and clem are gonna hook up, that's disturbing on so many levels. yes, i like clem, he's a nice demon, but not exactly dateworthy, i'm shuddering just thinking about it. i don't know how buffy isn't more freaked by that. if that is where you're going, i beg you not to be too detailed.
